Creativity and Well-being for Women
This seminar is presented on a date set when there is a group of ten women signed up to attend. Please use the "Contact the Artist" form if you would like further information and whether this seminar would be the next step for you!
This seminar comes in two consecutive classes, a Friday evening of three hours and a Saturday workshop of five hours with hands on artplay. The evening seminar provides a model which is individualized through visualizations and exercises, to discover how the model applies to each woman.
Based on the creative process experienced through painting, this seminar applies a model of the creative process to a woman's life. Starting with a blank canvas we explore our immediate reactions to life's challenges, when nothing appears to be provided. As in painting, life presents a blank canvas at times, when we have a circumstance for which we have no answers. This is an opportunity that can be missed through the pattern of grief and helplessness. What can be discovered is the process of awaiting the creative urge that dwells within us to provide the answers and direction to move in.
We will use the creative model to take step by step action and discover our innate abundance that can pour out upon the canvas of our lives. Women can tap into, and enhance, the ownership, balance and joy in their lives through their inborn ability to create. We have "brushes", "paints", and the ability to choose which one to apply to our circumstance, and move in faith of our ability and the guidance of our inner greatness, to create beauty and peace as a result.
