http://www.flickr.com/photos/lillianna/4154727752/ Absolutely great collages, such fantastic juxtapositions and mystical/mythical imagery!! She uses so many resources of vintage images and then also brings them together by drawing certain parts to create a unique vision!
http://juliahepburn.blogspot.com/ Beautiful miniature tableaus or shadow boxes, in other kinds of containers, too. She has such a unique and magical vision, often dark, often quirky. Her sense of humour is obvious! She has an amazing technique with her sculptures and scenery - definitely worth a long, long look at her artworks!
http://www.sublackwell.co.uk/ Breathtakingly beautiful paper sculptures! There is a wonderful fairytale theme in much of her work, as well as stories such as Peter Pan, Alice in Wonderland and The Snow Queen. Much of her work is displayed in a lit shadow box. She is also very successful commercially having done print, display and video work for company ad campaigns! So much inspiration!
http://www.kathycameron.ca/ Great collage artist!! "Collage allows me to take beautiful pieces of vintage paper and ephemera and encapsulate them in works of art. I am inspired by the rich colours of aged inks and paper. There is an intriguing sense of mystery that shrouds each piece I use."
http://www.kenhornart.com/ Beautiful images painted in a unique technique that are allegorical, and mystical. He writes wonderful poetry connected to his images.
http://dangerouslycrafty.blogspot.com/ Dangerously Crafty, with Florance Simpson creating, and instructing courses in, amazing paper art craft! Florance was interested in what I've been doing with minature theatre because she is a costume and set designer!!!

http://vancouverislandschoolart.com/about.html I took my artwork to The Victoria School of Art - on Quadra St. to have a "critique" of my work and to get an idea of what direction I should focus on, with the little time that I have for my artwork.
http://www.michaels.com/ A huge arts and crafts store that has so much variety in supplies, offers lessons and ideas!
http://christyrell.ca/books I read his "Artist Survival Skills" and I'll need to read that one again. Chris Tyrell's "Making it! Case studies of Successful Canadian Visual Artists" book is an easy read because it's so informative and inspiring! It tells the stories of artists through Chris' interviews - they talk about using the internet, websites, Etsy, online marketing, having corporate sponsorship, reproduction rights, connections through art organizations, and more!
http://judegriebel.com/ His rich artwork is allegorical, telling his own stories in mystical images! I struggle with "classifying" my genre, and I felt his images were similar.
http://www.enchanteddoll.com/ Marina Bychkova's amazing art dolls or bjd (ball jointed doll). I am totally in love with her dolls and the images she creates with them - storybook, fantasy, and conceptual. She has over the top talent and is paid very well for her creations - as she should be!!! She inspires my desire to create my miniature theatre scenes.
